Our Story
It started with a walk through a department store.
In 1987, Stuart Herskovitz noticed shoppers at a cosmetic counter trying on lipstick straight from the tube and putting it back on the shelf for the next customer to try.
He saw a problem nobody had solved: the beauty industry needed hygienic disposables, the same way hospitals use single-use medical supplies to prevent cross-contamination. He set out to bring that same principle to beauty, and Qosmedix was born.
That instinct, to look at what beauty industry consumers need and go address it, is still how we operate today.
